AV1, the next-generation codec standard with high compression efficiency, is becoming an alternative to the existing H.264. However, due to high computational load, software-based AV1 encoder requires further computational cost increases, making codec replacement difficult.

Pulsar-AV1 encoder performance
AV1 encoder is FPGA-accelerated and suitable for low-latency encoding. Compared to CPU-based svt-av1, encoding performs at a 6x faster speed and shows higher compression efficiency.
